Anniversary Flowers, Delivered.

This week was full of many celebrations! Anniversaries definitely took the cake. We had the opportunity to build and deliver more anniversary flower arrangements than any other occasion! Below are a few of the floral compositions that we took pride in creating for some very special clients. Most of these recently orders for compositions have been same day floral delivery arrangement orders. Roses and Calla Lilies are strongly featured this August at our studio and we were able to book some great shipments that have been coming in and plenty more that are set to arrive throughout the month. We hope you enjoy the floral photos as always and we look forward to creating some great pieces for all of you throughout this month. And as so many of us are going back to school along with all the other exciting ‘End of Summer’ events that are upcoming, this is sure to be a great time of the year for all of us. – Take Care and Enjoy Your Weekend.

Often I will look back through past work and critique it and revisit what we produced in the past. This exercise I find to be beneficial and keeps us on our toes to out do what we’ve already produced and stay fresh, producing the best floral art we can. These are some clips from a few months ago. Hope you enjoy! Video of April Clips

40th Anniversary Flowers

Posted on Aug 4, 2013 in Blog, Studio News

Yesterday we had the honor and privilege of creating these unforgettable anniversary flowers and being involved in a very special 40th wedding anniversary.

The couple had chosen Bella Vita as their venue for the evening. When I delivered the anniversary flowers floral compositions, Bella Vita wasn’t open yet, so I entered through the kitchen in the back. As I passed through the kitchen with the bright and bold flowers, I was able to catch a sneak peek of the head chef preparing the most exquisite salad plates. They were works of art. I’ve only dined at Bella Vita once before, but after seeing the plates, smelling the rich flavors coming from the kitchen and revisiting the menu, I will definitely be making my way back very soon.

The anniversary flowers floral arrangements were comprised of red tropical flowers (antherium) , white ranunculus and plenty of assorted foliages. I added various wire and fiber materials as well.

It was a touching story when the wife first arrived to meet with me at our studio to discuss the event. We talked about the anniversary coming up and what flowers she enjoyed and what she wanted us to create. As we continued to discuss, she shared that her husband has a terminal illness and that this inevitably was going to be their last anniversary. My heart sank. There’s no words to describe how hard that that is. Or what her and her husband are going through. She is a very strong woman and we talked more and got our plan in place. She stopped by the studio once more to finish the details and then yesterday we got to create and deliver these to Bella Vita.

I haven’t heard back from her yet, but I’m positive that they had a wonderful night filled with emotions, memories, amazing food, flowers, wine, laughs and love.

So, here’s to all anniversaries – Cheers

Roses for a Girl named Rose

This came about when a great client dropped by the studio this week to get a sweet, special and small surprise for her friend named Rose. With a theme ‘Roses for Rose’, we started with some select awesome baby roses and together we selected other varieties to mix in and also the container. I arranged everything, she approved and off it went. I love the colors, the variety and the cool modern chrome vessel. Great experience.
